Orchestrating my FIRST piece | Composition Exercise

This writing exercise is based on the most recent Score Study analysis (looking at Ligeti’s Ricercata No. 3). If you haven’t watched that one, I recommend watching it first.

A long time ago, I wrote a piece for solo piano, and today I’m going to orchestrate that piece for woodwind quintet. I’ll be walking you through basic principles of orchestration based on the three ideas we talked about in the Ligeti orchestration.
