Two Minute music theory

When I started Two Minute Music Theory back in 2015, it was a special request from a band director friend of mine who needed some music theory videos for their classroom. Seven years later, that little side project has collected almost 3 million views on YouTube. In that time, I have also expanded to include videos on Music History as well as Music Composition.

Two Minute Music Theory is now used as a resource in music education classrooms across the globe. I am also partnered with multiple international educational video curation platforms providing access to even more classroom around the world.

Hey everyone. I’m a composer and music theorist. I specialize in sacred music - both in my writing and in my analytical work. I have degrees from Auburn University and the University of South Carolina in Music Composition - I also spent some time teaching Music Theory at Auburn University.
